objects for thought - positions their lighting and objects in an aesthetic future.

Bound by intuition, we operate with the freedom to create what may look different, but feel right, through the use of industrial shapes, materiality, and a refined vision.

Oft was conceived in deep zones of thinking and conversation. It is this informal, conversational approach to design that remains a guiding principle of Oft. Negating convention and vogue expectation, Oft translates their contemporary thinking into physical lighting, furniture and other objects for residential and commercial clientele.

Close relationships with key collaborators and manufacturers, both locally and abroad, ensure a swift connection between our design and production stages. We are nothing without collaboration and acknowledge the many valued artists, manufacturers, stockists and clients that continue to support Oft.

Oft would also like to acknowledge the Yugambeh and Budjalung people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people we work now and into the future.

The first collection from the brand is the Rider Range, consisting of a cohesive suite of lighting defined by simplistic elegance. A glass dome is the characteristic feature of the Rider, repeated in Single, Double, Triple and Quad variants to form this iterative collection for any project. The dome offers a visual sense of wholeness, a rounded softness delicate to the eye.

These surface-mounted wall or ceiling lights are suited to multiple locations within any residential or commercial premises.

Oft was founded by artists / designers, Jay Jermyn and CJ Anderson.
